Do I need to see all three of The James Plays in chronological order?

All three plays are complete in themselves and can be seen alone. As a trilogy, each continues the story of the last and some characters recur throughout, but these links can be understood out of order.

Are the plays in modern language?

The James Plays are contemporary plays written by Scottish playwright Rona Munro. They are all in modern language.

Is there a ticket offer for booking all three plays at once?

Trilogy Passes, offering a 20 per cent discount on all ticket prices, are available however numbers are  limited so it’s best to book early.  

There are three Trilogy Pass options: for single shows over three days, three plays over two days, or the 3-play one day package.

Can I see all three plays in one day?

Yes, on Saturday 12th March. A Trilogy Pass will get you a 20 per cent discount on usual ticket prices when you book for these shows.

How do I buy tickets for the on-stage seating?

Choose a date and a time for the performance you would like to book, and add the quantity of tickets to be purchased under ‘GA Stage Seating - $49.00’.

What does it mean to sit on stage?

On-stage seats are on benches set on stage in full view of the theatre audience. It’s like you are in the show and part of the action.  They are priced at $49.00 and may have a restricted view.
