In a nutshell:
First to sell-out at Edinburgh International Festival 2015 / Symphonic folk on a grand scale / A unique singer-songwriter at the top of his game

Support act: Dawn Landes, 8PM

He’s clocked up thousands of musical miles playing to besotted fans who’ve packed auditoriums across the globe, losing themselves in the landscapes, characters, fears and joys described in his sprawling and seductive tunes. He’s legendary Michigan-born songwriter Sufjan Stevens and he’s coming to Auckland for one-night only.

Within the sweet surroundings of The Civic, Stevens plays the beautiful, symphonic folk suites of his seventh album, Carrie & Lowell and selections from his illustrious career with his full, eight-piece band and an immersive, all the bells and whistles, lighting and video production.

Come share the talent and beautiful music of this one-of-a-kind musician in a one-off extraordinary event.
